The Onshore wind energy industry encompasses all wind projects and wind farms that have been built on the land. The locations of these wind farms are mostly near the Black Sea areas where the wind patterns result in greater efficiency and production of electricity. While offshore projects are developed in areas where the ocean floor is relatively low (between 25 and 50 meters) so that the support structures for the equipment can be fixed to the ground.
